I can't really tell with the first photo if it is a match to the obverse but the 2nd pic looks very close to the reverse of a Republic of China 10 Cash coin.

eta 1 1/2 inch would be too large for a 10 Cash ... there is also a 20 Cash or maybe something else from the series would be a better match..

Coin Value: China (Republic) 10 and 20 Cash 1912 to 1920
