Found this token near Bodie, Ca. Can anybody help identify where it originated, or anything about it? Back side reads "Good for 2 1/2 in Trade. Hey, thanks.

This one is listed in Smith's MO Index as Kansas City, MO. It is interesting how tokens sometimes travel clear across the country!

I'm not a token collector, but way back in the old days [1950's] before coin operated tables. The attendant racked the balls, collected the dime for the game, and the winner recieved a 2 1/2 token like the one you found. Four wins and you had enough for a free game or a large candy bar. One would'nt buy you anything, and many times ended up being "play money" for children so find out where those old sand boxes were.
