Go figure Rich...I'd like to know the story behind that one, awesome find....Congrat's and HH!!

Coin or token, it's still pretty cool looking. 1943 is pretty old, at least older than me. congrats.

The link isn't quite working 100%.When you get to the page, click on Netherlands on the left side of the page, then scroll down to "Netherlands Wilhemina" and click. When you get to the next page, scroll down to 5 cent pieces and you'll see a picture.

Rich,

Nice coin or token...I too believe it's a coin.

HH :)

That's a great coin, rich. A keeper for sure. :)

Looks to be from the netherlands but has 5 cents and dug in Houston.

Although it looks exactly like the Kingdom of the Netherlands 5? piece issued from 1913 until 1940, the date 1943 identifies it as a 5? piece which was struck expressly for use on the island of Curacao in the Netherlands Antilles, and also in Surinam (Dutch Guiana) during World War II.
