Well.. My 3500 is a 2003. Wish I had put seat covers on it back then, I just never found any that fit well. I need to reupholster mine now. Like you, I plan on keeping it a long time. Nice truck by the way!

Hey....if he ever ends up with a live deer or turkey or duck in the back seat that camo just might allow him to get a clean killing shot. You're a lucky woman to have a guy who isn't afraid to go that extra mile in his new truck to feed his family.

Re: told hubby this ain't happening!

Whatever kind you use, DO NOT USE the clear vinyl. I put a set of those on a new truck a few years back. They held
up for about 5 years or so and then the started tearing. When I had enough of their tearing I took them off. Upon doing
that I discovered that the original material on the seats had dryrotted almost to the point of being like paper. They were
a mess. I was really sorry that I had covered them. You definitely need something that will breathe. I didn't think of
that when I installed them. Also, I didn't have any tint in any of the windows so the hot sun beat down on them all day
long every day. Ray
