I am guessing canvasback drake. Redhead has yellow eye. Cans have red. Either way easy $100. Some people are asking $400 even for them. Guess depends on the carving and details. I would gladly give you $25 (kidding) and add it to my collection. Good score

It is so NOT funny and getting alfull childish, keep it up and we will tell your parents about your behavior.

I was going to say something similar. It smacks of someone making fun of us. It plays into their hands when they say we don't deserve it. Not everything found is worthy of a banner. Please save it.

Where I live I see decoys all the time. Maybe I should at least have an understanding of what makes them valuable so I can at least know a good one when I see one.

I always keep an eye out for the old decoys because they can be worth much. I do not collect them so do not know what I should. With all the collecting shows on tv it makes it harder to find the good ones. That one is very nice though and a good bargain was made.

Wow. I never realized these had such value.

decoys are a really hot item and and sell for nice cash and quickly. I generally pay a higher percentage for decoys as they move fast.

Nice Find !!

Cheers - Koffee

keep an eye out for the ones with the turned heads - kind of like they are looking toward their back. if i remember correctly they are worth more than the straight head versions of the same maker.
