Tonight's hunt gives me some silver for my pile!

Got $200 in MWRs, they were a weird mix, most of them were the usual yellow String and Son rolls, the others were like a brownish yellow with stripes on it, I believe this is what Brinks uses? And 3 of them were black and white striped with a name of a regional bank at the other end of my state. Overall they were great rolls, with the black and white ones producing the most. Ended up getting 6 40%ers (with 1 1967 ender).

Also got a box of nickels, it wasn't so great, but managed to score a 1945-S war nickel.

And got a box of pennies, 5 common wheats and a 1937.

The halves were great, I'm thinking about picking up the rest tomorrow, but nickels have been disappointing lately.

I've never found that many loose mwr halves from a bank at one time. I rarely find loose mwr halves and I think the most I've ever found at one time from a bank was 3 or 4 rolls. Nearly all the half rolls I find are cwr's - which is fine with me as long as they aren't someone's dump.

Btw, I've just started my first weekend box of nickels and I've already found some nice keepers. I'll post my results sometime tomorrow.

Well, apparently that was all of the halves they had. Ended up getting $115 in MWR dimes, ended up getting skunked except for getting a 2000 British 5p coin, which was interesting to find in a roll of times easily my favorite of the circulation post-decimalization coins with the exception of a few of the circulating commemorative 2 pounds and the royal arms reverse pound coins.
