It warms up Sunday here.....with the rain! And I'll be out there too in it! Lol! We are too far gone to redeem! Lol! But we sure know how to have fun!

Yes we do. expecting snow in the next couple of days. i was shaking so much i couldn't brush away the dirt from my targets. lmao thanks

It was 22F when I went out this morning. It had warmed up to 28 at noon when I went detecting, but the wind was whipping and I don't know what the wind chill factor was, but my runny nose and cold fingertips said it was low! Congrats on getting out. Is that last item some sort of old hunting button?

How cold was it in Texas? It was 20 here in NY with 25 MPH winds I only lasted about an hour my hands still hurt.

it was in the low 20s. the metereoligist said the wind would stop at 11 am, but he was wrong by two hours late. lol

Frozen swampy areas. Now is the time to detect. Mark the spots with - I dunno maybe those lil flags the underground utility locators use - then dig them in spring. You save 90% of the trudging through the muck. do 30 days of easy walking now and in one day recover all the goods :)

Hello Car91rs,

Very nice finds!

I too was out hunting; today in my area the 25 +/- degree temperature with wind was not fun. Like you, I couldn’t resist.

Regards,
