too cold & yucky to dig lately--but I'm no slacker: indoor finds

Nice finds. The S mint mark Kennedys are getting harder to find.
 

With two 40% Kennedy half dollar along with the very early Jefferson nickles.I would say that the roll hunt was successful.Iwas lucky enough last week to get a 1968 half from our bank. I always ask the tellers if any half dollars had been brought in.

cool. that '39 doubled die is valued at approximately 30 bucks. Kinda hard to tell from the pic, but the '48 looks to be a slight clipped planchet
 

the '48 is a clip, value about $3. Redbook puts '39 DDR VF at $70, EF at $100. the die clash does not show very clear in photo. more great finds tonight from another half box, will post in CRH forum on Friday
