Took a chance on some art

I don't usually by art, but everyone says buy what you like. I really like the sunset one. Its by AD Neri who I do not know who it is. It says it is the Yakama reservation in 2001.

The second is by Don Blisard. The content is not engaging but I like his style. Paid $60 for both.

Just in case you have not researched it yet. Yakima Indian Reservation is in the State of Washington.
 
I think you did pretty good on those two pieces. I'm not much of a fan for primitives but I do like the Neri.

So I just found the Blisard painting here.

Estimate is much higher than I expected. Any recommendations on how and where to sell paintings? I feel like shipping is a bad idea.
 
It did not sell in that auction for that estimate. (Bought in, no bidders or did not reach estimate). I would contact Heritage auction where the example I found did sell.
 
Thanks for tip. Looks like it sold for $112. I'm hoping for $60. :)
