Nothing spectacular, but my buddy is a local dealer and I have purchased quite a few machines from him over the years. (He tells me I should make up my mind which ones I like). He does a lot of coin shooting, but not relic hunting.
I took him to a farm (posted about it once a long time ago), it has a ton of junk metal all around it. Now that I've cleaned out 100+ bullet casing and almost as many aluminum cans:
He found his first Confederate bullet, a Gardner 58 caliber and a colonial flat button. Both were firsts for him.
I got 1 colonial button. I also got an old rabies tag for a dog, but not really old, my friend may have found a broken colonial shoe buckle.
Not much, but these were firsts for him.
The house was built before 1770 and is still standing. We still haven't found a colonial coin there. Sorry, no pics. Still, a good couple hours.
