I took my 2 daughters detecting at thier school today. I helped a little bit but they did all the digging and pinpointing. It was great to see thier faces as they found stuff. I know its not great stuff but to them it was.
Cant wait till next weekend to do it all again.

Ah, thats great Twister! Are they getting their own detectors for Christmas? Obviously treasure hunting courses through their veins as I know it does yours. You may have lit the fuse Dad! ;D

Thats Great Twister...I am a big believer in getting your children interested in hobbies such as metal detecting. My daughters hunt with me and its led to alot of great stuff...their interest in history, rocks, fossills ,gems ,coin collecting, spending alot of time together...long conversations over the dinner table.....keep taking them....But word of warning...they get really great at it fast!

I am sure your wife dosn't mind you taking the kids along. I do it all the time myself. My wife enjoys a little peace and quiet.

That's great, Twister. I would have loved to have gone detecting with my dad when I was a kid. Keep it up and you'll have yourself some great detecting partners there.
:)

That great, I take my two kids with me sometimes. They are two and three, their attention span is not the greatest but the worms I dig up are the coolest.

i cant wait to take my little girl out with me .she only two we have a couple years to go ;D

That gives me hope ! ;D I have two girls. The oldest is two and she does not like to get dirt on here hands. Owell maybe she will grow out of that.LOL HH
