I am interested in how it turns out. They are nice looking rocks, but I am surprised you were able to round them after 2 days. Topaz is hard (8 on the scale).

Looks good Thanks jair :) Gonna be cool to see the final polish.

placergold, topaz is hard however it fractures easily and smooths fairly quickly.

Well I haven't used my rock crusher to try and polish rocks , and had a pound ( aprox ) decided to see how well my rough topaz polish and thought maybe I would get something worth while out of them . I have to say I know I don't have a pound now .
