Today, I found the UPS man at my door with my new F75 se and sun ray pin pointer NICE!!!
I'd been kicking the idea around for a while about pulling the trigger on this machine. I do think I'll be glad I did.....when the snow melts. I looked at a bunch of places to get it and settled on Alaska mining and dive supply shop in Anchorage, AK. of all the shops offering this unit they were the only ones to offer the sun ray pin pointer which I felt more important to have than digging tools or pouches for the same price. Any thoughts or tips on this machine appreciated?

hows the weather in your parts?

12" snow on the ground and more coming Saturday and Sunday so it's going to be some time till digging begins :-(

My next land machine will be an F75 - I think too

I hear you there, enjoy your new detector HH, I cant wait till spring!

Congrats on your new machine. I have the T2 SE, basically they are both the same.
They are great detectors and super sensitive. Take it slow and learn the machine about what it is telling you.
Good luck.

Congrats. I've heard great things about the F75 -- it goes deep!

Congrats on your new machine! I also just got my new machine from them a few days ago, e trac with sun ray probe!

:thumbsup:A big congratulations on your new F75! Let us know how you like it.

You will love it! Don't be discouraged at first if you're not finding the stuff you may expect to find. It's certainly all about location first and foremost. I think it is possibly one of the best machines on the market and can go head to head with machines that cost more, like an e-trac or even a CTX 3030(just doesn't have the bells and whistles). The depth is amazing. I have pulled small buttons out at 12 inches easily. Half dimes ring in clear as day at 10 inches. And it LOOOOOVES silver! These are the settings I run mine, 90 sensitivity, 15 discrim, notch at 4 and process at JE. I never run mine in all motion, mainly because I can pull deep targets in regular mode. But I hear people use all motion a lot and have great success and dig deeper targets. Good luck with it and happy hunting!

I wont be discouraged, I don't think I'll have to much trouble figuring it out, like anything time in is knowledge gained! One field I hunt is 2,300 Ac. and looking at the 5" coil, man I have a daunting task ahead!! HH :icon_thumright:
