Been hitting a site that is a bit challenging. It's a steep rocky slope with plenty of ledge. I was convinced that nothing could be whole, but happily I was proven wrong. Amongst the stones and roots a few hardy survivors have been discovered. Many criers littered the site including a handful of Saratoga bottles including an amber cylinder embossed around the base that I haven't seen before. A half dozen Dyotteville iron pontiled bases have been dug up so far, along with an absolute crap load of wines, whiskeys, and ales including a single pontiled black glass base. Also about a dozen broken round bottomed ginger ales, some embossed and some not. Anyways, there were a few whole ones including a large (8 1/2 inches) med marked S. O. Daniels, Druggist, Natick Mass. Also an F. Brown's Ess of Jamaica Ginger, Philadelphia.
