Found this on the outskirts of Historical City Hall in Fairfax, VA. I stuck it in my pouch, like I always do, to see what it was later. Looked, at first blush, to be scrap iron. But as I carefully cleaned it, I saw a definite symmetry and a hole appeared as I cleaned it. A gun barrel and revolver mechanism became clear.
It has a definite seam down the top of it, like it was attached bi-laterally, and it's tiny. Definitely a gun, but what...?
