Power knob at 12 oclock, Discr at 12 oclock, switch on tone. quarters, dimes, silver will be a tone, pennies a tone or a tone with a grunt at the end, nickels will be a solid grunt. pulltabs will be a grunt also but usually a grunt followed by a tone. Last night I pulled 62 coins in little over an hour, 2 quarters, 11 dimes, 3 nickels, 46 pennies. HH

Just purchased a bh t iv. Had a chinese cheapo, which i had learned with and was getting some decent finds. Now its learning all over again! I Thought it would be easier.
The setting you perscribed is the jewerly setting according to the tracker iv manual. The manual says 3 0clock in the disc knob and switch on disc for coin shooting. Your way seems more intuitive. Gonna chk it out.
