Trade beads?

I acquired these with a lot of other things many years ago. The seller told me they are beads from the fur trade era, but I've always had my doubts. Can someone with more knowledge please tell me if they are actually trade beads, or was I duped?

Look closely at them. The old old ones were made of layers of glass of different colors. More recent ones were painted.

You got duped,....they just look wrong,....wrong colors also ...if you get to know your authentic beads ...you can tell immediately......sorry my friend.......

Not 1600-1700 beads....they are very recent ...African or other area ..."fakes"
