So it's been a dry summer in North Dakota. I noticed the creek that runs through town was dry, so I thought I would try detecting the creek bottom. About 10 minutes later after digging a few trash targets, I turned up this token. It was worth 50 cents in mechendise at a place called the Patrons Exchange. Did some research and discovered it was a department store that sold overshoes, furs, wool clothing from 1904 till 1917. 20180901_234328.webp20180901_234254.webp

Great token! I’ve always wanted to try some creeks but never have.

Very nice token. I really like tokens with the scalloped edge.

Congratualtions on the nice token! :icon_thumleft:

Wow, thanks for all the info Jeff!

Very nice scallop, Good For 50 cents is not the most common denomination dug.
Kudos!
Carl

Only the 5¢ and $1 denominations are posted on TokenCatalog.com, so it would be great if you could post this 50¢ one there.
