All I gotta say is wow. This detector goes very deep. Maybe as deep as the xlt. I am so shocked at how easy and simple this little machine is. This is such a powerhouse. I only civil war relic hunt and this machine is killer. Am so glad I got this little guy. Anyone else have any luck with cibola

Hi civil war,you think the Cibolas deep, try a Vaquero,it's a Cibola on steroids!.No kidding it's top rated down south here. Some of the Cibola gurus mod them out with a ground balance. It's a perfect relic machine for sure :-! .

How could you mod one out. I understand the ground balance switch would be great but what else can they do.

That's it civil war. They just put a gb control on it.But i would leave it alone if it was me.There are advantages to a preset gb that most do not think about. For one the detector runs smoother and quieter which is very important for deep relic, woods hunting environment,so i would not worry at all about any mod on the Cibola. :-X

Well took it out today on the maiden voyage and found about 8 cw bullets ranging in depths from 6 - 8 inches, found an 1840 large cent, a large knife, a knapsack j hook and another misc copper piece. So loving this machine

It's wierd. I have gone over this place at least 30 times in last 15 years and never picked these up. Was there just last week and never heard them.

The Cibola is no joke.Just because it has that silly baby paint job. That was applied just to make the general public to think you have a toy in your hand.I mean, look at the crazy purple paint job on the Vaquero. And that detector will run with any detector made, including the new minelab ctx 3030.And i want someone to accept that challenge.

I should have got a tesoro a long time ago. Geez imagine what all I have missed
