Trail cam Lion #2

I had seen this poor old cow elk laying down about 15 yards off the trail I was walking on. She was skin and bones and laid there and watched me go by. I didn't disturb her and left her alone..I went back a few days later and found her dead, so I aimed a trail cam at the carcass to see what came to feed. There were a few coyotes that I haven't posted. They were bothered by the flash and were pretty poor pics. There are about twenty more pics of the cougar but this is enough.

Ron in the year 2000 I was out in Murray Id deer and elk hunting, We was camping at a friends land that he was going to build a cabin on. He told me before i came out there to make sure i ALWAYS had a side arm on me. One evening just getting dusk I came out of his potty shed. Guess what i did not have on me. Before i went out there i had purchased a Ruger 44 mag. It was back in my trailer. I came out of the porta john and maybe 20 to 30 feet away was a Mt Lion. I jumped back in the out house and started screaming for my buddy's. They looked out of my trailer and seen the cat. They got a gun and shot twice just to scare the cat away. The cat took off they said . After that I took quite a bit of kidding . You can believe this I NEVER was with out a firearm again out there .
