The name of the town is misspelled it needs 2 L's. This robbery is Terry's listing 860 in his United States Treasure Atlas. There are many other articles out there that were carried arcoss the country on this one.

Ironically they placed sacks of silver on the dynamite, which were blown around. Seven of the estimated eight thousand dollars were recovered. According to Terry some were still being found years later.

There is supposedly $84,000 in gold not too far away from another one.
