Hello,
I have seen alot of trail and pointer trees on here from out west but I was wondering if they have been found in the east.
I live in NW. PA. and located what looks like one but I have only seen it from the road and I will have to get a closer look and some pics.

Thanks,
Pete

It may be an Indian Trail Tree / Language Tree / Thong Tree. We see them from time to time.

Try this site: http://www.mountainstewards.org

You can learn a lot by going there, or to the forum located here:

http://www.ahgweb.com/trailtrees

Post a picture of the tree under "Is it a trail tree" and someone there will let you know.

Thanks for the links. I will post a pic when I get a chance.

I finally got a chance to take some pics. They are not the best as we took them while driving down the road. Let me know what you think as I'm not real sure it seems kind of small. The town I live in was founded in 1796 and records show that the area was inhabited by native americans previous to that so I would think that the tree should be bigger.

Thanks,
Pete
