Evening everyone!

Got out of work a bit early and decided to run downtown to see if any of the local freights were due. Hearing two approaching via radio, I rushed to the same spot where I found the case-shot cannonball frag a few years back. (great spot for train pics) I ended up getting there before either one of them and figured I'd walk around while I waited, seeing how it paid off before. Well, it paid off again today!

While looking at a small pile of old glass on a small slope, I noticed something sticking out of the dirt. It was shaped like a circle, hollowed out and had a white patina to it. Sure enough it's what I thought it was; a Civil War bullet. A perfectly preserved dropped Enfield. Before I could clean it off, the horns of both trains caught my attention and I quickly snapped them both.

Needless to say, I will be heading back to this area more frequently to walk around while waiting for trains. If anything else comes of it, I'll be sure to share. Thanks for looking and God Bless!
