If it is it’s first stage, but I don’t think so,, looks more like a Culbreath, Citrus type Without splitting hairs, their all from the same general time period...That is an outstanding point, congrats.

Yeah I first thought Culbreath but it has rechipped or touched up ears. 3 other Clays were found fairly close by as well. Culbreath is a good call though. Found in the 80's near Wesley Chapel.

Sure is a beautiful opaque point, kind of looks like that fossil coral that you find there in Florida.
