Trash pit finds

Found these 2 items in a track/ bottle dump. Don't know what the copper bow shaped item is and the rusty lump looks like a gun to me - or is that my imagination? I will be returning to look for more relics.

Looked at the rusted item again and realized it's a caster for a piece of furniture- still don't know what the copper thing is
