Detected the power plant wreck site Wednesday via Walton beach dog park .
There was a fully intact sail boat sitting in the surf on the beach. See photos.
I returned Thursday to detect the beach behind the boat as a nice cut was forming there on Wednesday. The cut was just barely visible, the boat or should I say most of the boat was gone. There was some smaller wreckage strewn about the dunes but no sign of the bulk of the vessel.
I learned that the bulk of the boat was now over a 1/4 mile south and a complete wreck.
I saw firsthand how the sea can destroy and displace a small craft.
This occurred during a bit of a rough tide. I can imagine what a full blown hurricane can and did do to the much larger 1715 fleet and many others.

I did not take any photos on Thursday of the remains.
