Cooper's Treasure is a good show. I just watched the first two episodes of this season a couple of nights ago. I watched the entire 1st season last year and was hooked when they started mentioning my treasure hunting hero, Mel Fisher.

I’ll read up on Mel Fisher

"Today's The Day"......gotta love that quote.

Saw it Last Night. 6 Cannon

P'd me Off though, They refuse to Pull them up
citing Coral & Environmental Damage :(

The Cannon are in such a small Spot compared to the Ocean, Let alone the entire World.
a pin prick on a Fat persons Butt would damage more Area.

I say Pull them up, Clean them Up & maybe I.d. the site.

first They got Screwed over in Turks & Caicos.
Now they are doing it to Themselves.

Sorry these Holier then Thou Attitudes don't fly with me.

if damaging that Coral will Damage the Environment. they Better
allow Treasure Hunters to Pull up all The 10's of Thousands of Ship Wrecks including the Titanic Immediately because of the Pollution.

Jeff,
I agree. I have not seen any of the shows, so I don't know where this is taking place. I was contacted a few years back about this treasure, and given the approximate location. Could you inform me where the action is, so that i may see if this is the same wreck?

Did anyone else notice that the coordinates of the cannon didn't match the location that they show on the Google Earth photos?

It's actually on the upper region of the islands, off Long Cay:
22.522132°
-74.326855°
Assuming north up, the "deep" is at the right azimuth of the drop off line.

I know that they shoot a bunch of film out there and piece stuff together but it makes one wonder.........

I watched the show, with the six cannons. Good show, and very intriguing treasure hunt...!

Yes, grab the two cannon that was stuck together, pull them to the surface, id one of them, and return them to the deep,
if they feel guilty...after all, they're looking for that golden table, aren't they...?!

They Complained about a Boat Sitting in the distance.
& their fear of Someone Jumping in.
My Guess they are not sharing accurate Location info Unless it's already cleaned up.

Noticed that too. I'm wondering if they're just leaving them so they've got something to go back to in another episode? Six cannons & a mysterious boat monitoring them? That'd be a whole episode in itself!

Lessee....... Six cannons sitting on the bottom leaching iron & possibly other metals into the water for a couple hundred years and their worried? Heck they've got the barge, lift the cannons & drop some boulders in their place! Cleaner nicer habitat than what's there.

that's the location I was given. gold-bight2.webp

I watched twice and knew it would go on forever like a soap opera
