Was wondering if anyone has this book by Andy Sabisch and does it cover the single frequency detectors by minelab like the musketeer? Also I notice there is a volume 1 and volume 2.......Is the second just revised or is it a completely new book? Was looking into purchasing one but was wondering if I would really learn anything...................Thanks Tim

they were about the early Sovereigns

Pre XS2

Thanks I will save my money.

Yea I don't think he ever did one for the Musketeer.

#1 is finding rings with the sovereign

and #2 is successful Coin hunting.

I never read #1

but 2 is mainly the BBS

it would still be good for a new sovereign owner

I would think any extra way you can gain knowledge about our hobby would be a benefit. Learn just one thing, your ahead.

I once had a friend many years ago that would not buy a treasure magazine because he said it would take away from his profit. He still doesn't find much....... :icon_scratch:

I undertand about learning all you can about detecting, which I always am doing anyway. I do not think a book about an FBS or BBS would be the same as a single frequency model, since I do not have a multiple frequency detector. That's jmho.

Yes I just sold my copy.

If you own FBS You should read it.

Only problem is it wouldn't
explain certain features that wern't
on it when he wrote the book.

I just got this book in the mail.. Started the 1st few chapters. GREAT stuff. its already helping me understand my EX SE much better..

I say to anyone thinkin about it. Get it.. 19 bucks delievered. great deal!

I just recently got Andy's book on the Quattro because I was told the Quattro is almost identical to the Safari that I just bought. In putting it side by side with the manual it is almost identical with a few helpful things you can do. The"book" is really not a book in the true sense, rather a well organized manual type publication. I got mine fora little over $17.00 at another site. Just happened onto it while surfing. I think it's $19.95 most places? Monty
