Treasure in a Treasure

i was at my daughters house in Ohio Sat.her home was built in 1906 .i found this ruge compac about 6"deep and the 1832 Large Cent was inside it! the compac dates to the 20's inscribed "Three Flowers Richard Hudnut NY

I dug two compacts this weekend, but dident get a coin in either, Good job

Lots of errors in that series, too. May be worthwhile doing some research, even though its worth a bit more than face value these days....

Nice find in a find.

I got a buffalo nickel in my last compact.

I've found about a half a dozen and the last one was the first with something in it.

I've found change purses with nothing on several occasions. I'm waiting on the big one.

Wow, what a great find and a great find. I've found a bunch of those darn compacts and all I've ever found in them are broken mirrors and some rouge. What a bummer, guess I'll just have to keep looking.

Beautiful! I've dug at least a half dozen, like several others here, and didn't find a surprise inside. Worse, you get a nice half dollar signal and it's only a compact Maybe the next one!
