"AGED CHINESE SLAIN FOR HIS MONEY.
Roseburg, Ore, June 15 - An aged Chinaman, who has resided in the vicitity of Riddle for years, was found dead near his cabin yesterday. An examination revealed he had been murdered. The last seen of the Chinaman was last Friday, when he visited Riddle, exchanging a quantity of gold dust for the equivilent in money." (Article in full)
