Are these things for real? I have never personally seen any but i always thought that this type of stuff was just in the movies..... IE Goonies

even though i havent dug up a hidden treasure/cache yet,
i can say for sure these do exist,and not fantasy/fiction...
take for instance --
you have a small unit of men that just was in a battle for thier lives in Rev War times in NY,
also thier protecting a payroll of british loot and barrels of powder and a cannon,thier scout comes back shouting that there is a large Enemy force about a hour from them,now they werent dumb in those days so they said screw this,hid thier loot and cannon to pick up at alater time.......now i had to make that up and write it fast but i hope ya get a idea of what Treasure hunting is.........
