Taking a little trip to Wyoming - maybe. The weather is hot and a severe hail storm is headed this way.

Day 1: California - The Golden State

Early morning along Interstate 80 - approaching the Nevada state line. Sun has just risen over the Truckee River which is just barely visible in this photo. On the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

I travelled that same Highway last summer when I drove back from California to Minnesota, & I want to go back this year, gorgeous scenery and breathtaking views you guys have over there.

Thank you all for the nice responses. This is a beautiful country we live in. I hope all of you get a chance to see more of it, despite the price of gasoline. Just keep in mind that next year the price is likely going to be higher!! Ugh.
