TreasureTales' Travelogue - Day 5 - Wyoming, con't.

Day 5 - still in Wyoming.

Don't have the time to head on to Cheyenne or even Laramie, so decided to turn northwest and slowly make my way back to California for a rendezvous with a couple of friends in the NE corner of CA early next week. So these are the last photos of Wyoming - hope you enjoy.

Up first are some dashcam photos - not enough shoulder on the road to pull over and do it right, so I shot these through my dirty windshield. Sorry!

Photo one - Cattle drive right down the middle of the highway - on the way to Jackson (Hole), WY

Photo two - The road to Jackson - what beautiful country. You can tell when you're getting close to Jackson because instead of seeing 4x4 pickups and SUVs, you start seeing more and more BMW's and Mercedes. It just doesn't seem right to have sports cars in Wyoming!

Photo 4 - Every time I stopped at the wildlife overlooks, I never saw any wildlife! But I did learn that Wyoming has between 40,000 - 60,000 pronghorn. Not bad considering all the construction going on in the state. The Big Sandy River (of Mountain Man fame) is in the background.

I drove West with my 3 young children last summer and seeing your pictures from your trip makes me wish I could go again this summer.
