Trench art - Lead carved woman’s shoe

I found the item below at a Civil War plantation site in Nashville TN. I think it’s trench art that later may have been chewed on by an animal. I can see where the lead was molded into the shape of a woman’s shoe. Please let me know what y’all’s thoughts are.
My second hunt after surgery 10 days ago to reattach my right bicep after a distal biceps rupture while moving brush after Nashville Ice storm. Evidently our tendons get brittle in older age. 😳 I didn’t have that piece of information, but all is well due to our outstanding medical professionals.
I’m using a limb saver harness plus Terra x shovel & holster. The set up is amazing for my left hand, as now I can just guide detector. Right arm still in splint brace/sling.

Neat bunch of finds. I'm not sure about the shoe -- hard to tell if it was intentional or not, at least from the photos. I like that little buckle, and the nickels are always nice. That bicep issue sounds painful!
