Trident 2 (vaquero} on the sand

Hi all, recently got a nice birthday pressie from the gang, a laser Trident 2 or Tesoro vaquero and having used it several times have found it a fab machine to use as I had hoped. I was surprised though when I popped to a couple of beaches in my area, thought Id try the dry sand and see what I could find , bit by bit I moved down onto the wet sand black sand and in the water at low tide with no problems of false signals etc I use the auto ground balance setting on the sand and its quiet as a mouse, until a signal just like on a field, hey I m not complaining its great but is this detector supposed to be good on beach as well as land? cheers...
