I tried a new spot today in between the rain. I know for sure there was a pretty big battle here but I didn't find any relics from it. I did find an old Merle Norman lipstick tube, a 1920s orange crush bottle, 1926 wheatie,and some bullets I'm not sure about. I only had about 2 hours before the rain started again.

There was a house there in the early 1900s but the civil war relics must be deeper. Next time I'll crank it up and dig the faint signals. The battle that happened there involved about 3000 soldiers.
