Tried for about 21/2 hours today....

Hit the pier and worked about 3 blocks during low tide. Low tide wasn't much because of all the NE wind and swell action we've had for the past 3 days. The hoop earring is junk. My hunting partner ended up just shy of 50 cents and found a nice looking piece of jewelry that came off a bracelet or necklace, it might be .925. Saw 2 other dry sanders down there. Probably give it a day or so and let the seas calm down some.

Every day detecting is a good day! I consider it practice for the loads of gold that will be arriving starting Memorial Day weekend! I've got a PI unit, so I have to clean the junk out before the goodies get here.
