Tried out the zoooom on my new camera.

I got this Panasonic ZS40K a couple, three weeks ago?? and have not had a lot of time to play with it. I thought I'd see how it worked out on a couple of doves in these dead trees they always roost in. Its not to shabby getting in on them, but the quality does drop off a bit on the sharpness the farther you zoom out. The trip next week should be a little less of a driving, hammer down, rush for miles, so maybe I can go find me some other walking, crawling, flying critters to scope out and get in close on. Hope so anyways!!!

It's got a lot of stuff I hope to pick up on. GPS & Wifi and all. The manual isn't any big help, but I'm figuring out most on my own by pushing the buttons. I may never get to needing all it has, but it's better by far from what I had before. Dang thing fits in my hip pocket.

I could never follow the manual on my P-520 either,you'll get the hang of it sooner or later dude.

I'd like to see some Macro shots.
