Had you thinking dime trifecta, right? Sorry to disappoint, but I did get the penny trifecta. 1901 Indian head, 1942 wheat, and many different memorials.
I have had three different outings with my Deus and I am loving it!! The last two hunts have been really successful to my standards, especially for only being two hours each. I have found a sweet spot time to go detecting with my busy schedule, where I can spend plenty of time with the family. I call it twilight hunting because I go around 6:30p when my son is going down to bed and I get about two hours of sunlight.
The last trip I got my first ever Indian head penny and was so excited! It's a 1907 in great shape and is in the picture with the train button for size comparison. I also got an old brass water spout that was pretty cool.
Tonight I was able to pull a 1901 Indian penny, back to back hunts for me!! Popped the plug out and this lady liberty in a head dress was sitting there looking all good with patina, and I knew exactly what it was.
I also got a small train button. I read through quick research that some people on here said others could be work clothes button. There is no back, but could anyone have a more specific ID for me?
