Hi all,

Road tripped to a favorite RI park- managed to find 1918, 1927 & 1941 Merc's and this US item- thought it was a button, but doesn't have a typical shank- see 2nd pic. Can anyone enlighten me as to exactly what I have??

Hope everyone got out and made some good finds!

Nice finds. The US item is a collar disc

Cool US item, probably some sort of uniform accoutrement. Nice job on THREE Mercs as well!

Sweet mercs. You did good.

Sweet mercs is absolutely right. Congrats on a winning day.

Nice finds Jeff, congratulations!

Very nice finds - Sweet Silver! :icon_thumright:

Being the flat variety, the US pin is most likely from around World War II or the Korean war. The older ones with the dome shape are from around World War I. Very cool find! Anything military items from the WWII period are great finds! ...and 3 mercs to top it off!

Wowza! Great finds. Congrats! -Lisa & John

Nice finds Jeff. Save some silver for me and Tony.
