Check version in your detector. There is new update as of late. Makes your detector LOADS better on salt beach and makes pinpoint work better.

tnsharpshooter - I've been watching all your Deus II videos. Many are a real eye opener. I just can't see hunting in the lakes with the Deus II any longer. Figured I rather dunk the Sub $500 Score 3 than the $1500 Deus. I've had no issues yet but still the Antenna wire and Bone conductor headphones are a hinderance. I will say the Bone conductors do work really well for me in the lakes but not so much at the ocean beaches.

If you still have Deus 2. Your land hunting may improve finds umbers wise.

Deus II isn't going anywhere. It's used for all inland sites, ghost towns, Railroad Sidings, Parks, Schools, old empty lots and lod home sites. The Score 3 will just be for freshwater lakes (wading chest deep) and maybe the salt water beaches but the Deus is a killer there. We'll have to see if the Score can perform almost as well on the beach. I also use the Racer 2 and original Deus in some of the ghost towns.

I will try to do one other video tomorrow with Deus 2. You may find interesting. Word has it smaller coil for Deus 2 may be in the works. What I don’t know is can what I am showing with Deus 2 as of late. Can it be applied to the small coil it indeed it materials. Hmm

I'm waiting for that smaller coil. I have the HF Elliptical for the Deus, but not having anything small than the 9" round on the Deus II is the reason I have the Racer 2. I've also had the Multi Kruzer in the past but I sold it and went back to the Racer 2. I just like the Ergonomics of the Racer 2 better than the MK. I'm hoping the Triple Score can take the place of the Tesoro Tiger Shark I used to use in the water.

Received the Triple Score and I'm very happy with it's performance in the water. I got the Nokta waterproof headphones on Saturday and took the Score to a local lake yesterday (Monday). 30 minutes in and I popped out a 3 gm. 14K wedding band. Paid for the headphones plus, first time using them. I'm Happy!

I've had a Triple Score a couple months. Traded my Equinox 800 for it. I've used it twice and still learning but so far, I like it. Found 2 firsts with it. I also have the Makro Racer 2. I have an AT Pro as well, but it recently died.

Weighing the Triple Score package vs the Minelab X-Terra Elite package. I am thinking the 20KHz frequency option on the TS would be superior when detecting in placer gold country, but not sure.
