Trouble shooting

I have a AT Gold,I have about 25 hrs on it. Today it worked long enough to dig 1 pop tab and 1 nail. It just stopped working. The only thing it will detect is my pin pointer as long as my pin pointer is on. If it's off, nothing. Everything else seems to work fine,all the adjustments,sound factory reset etc. Any help appreciated.ive sent garette a email,just waiting for a reply. appreciated

Sounds like you lost the coil transmit signal. Check the connection, cable, and the coil itself for damage.

Thanks, it's working fine now.checked the connection it was good. I wiped the bottom of the coil with a dam cloth and dried it. Everything seems fine. There wasn't any major dirt on it. So I don't know if it was a combo of being to cold and the coil having some sort of film on it.i did leave it in my rig the night before it was single digits. I am going to look for a cover for the coil,it's getting some scratches on it.
