Spent my birthday (the 4th) hitting a side of town that i've never hit before. Got around 125ish in halves. Everything i got came from a pair of rolls from a washington mutual right near downtown. 3 64's, 8 64D's, 6 65's, 5 66's, 2 67's,4 68's, 1 69, a 1972S clad proof (my first proof find) and a 2003D (i think these havent been released?)

The last couple weeks have been good to me silver wise. 3 big scores over the 2 weeks.

Very nice totals. You are correct on the 2003D, anything from 2002 to date has not been release for general circulation.

Awesome! Love that proof and the 2003. Keep up the hunt!

A "proof" is any Kennedy half dollar with an S mintmark above the date. They're specially struck coins made for collectors but they sometimes find their way into circulation. They're value is negligible but they're still neat to find.

Nope, all denoms have them. Any coin with an S from the following years -

penny - 1975-present

nickel - 1971-present

dime & quarter - 1968-present
