Back in 1883, a keg containing $50K value of gold coins (U.S.) was stolen in Panama City (then part of Colombia). Does any one know if the keg was ever recovered? Have read a lot about a group of men jailed and then released for lack of proof, but have not found any reports about its recovery. Thanks,
