I hit the local thrift shops regularly and I recently found a couple great deals. First off I found a like new (still has plastic covers) Tucan Sam watch you could get with box tops from "Fruit Loops" cereal. Got it for a whopping 25 cents.
My second find was a swiss made Gucci watch for 50 cents. Both work fine after replacing the batteries. I've got about 50 watches in the collection now, mostly Seiko watches including one from the 1992 Olympics.

Nice score of watches. The Gucci should have a high quality Swiss movement. If it is a plastic movement that does not fill the case then it is a fake.
