Aloha Pirates,around 5:00pm my wife and i packed up.. and headed to a beach to sweep the dry. Many of the hotels guest had left the beach on their way to dinner. My left knee is bugging me so we took it slow... Bonny was into using the pin-pointer,, saved me bending down some. We dug a lot of holes...had alot of fun together...Kept the beach safe from aliens... and cleaned it up alot too. Heres the tally;13 beer caps,2 pull tabs,1 bobby pin " i now know exactly what they are by the sound" 5 sparklers,1 $1.00 dollar bill,1 Quarter,2 nickels,1 dime,6 pennies. total $1.51 also a oriental coin, and a turtle earring

At least you can get your wife to go.....and those %$#@ sparklers, everybody I know has found their fare (fair) share of them.

I can't wait to see the pictures of the gold.....

I believe, but might be wrong, the oriental coin is from a decoration. I believe it is a modern copy of an ancient Chinese coin. I might be wrong so let the experts tell you.

I was in Hawaii for a couple of weeks in 1992. We were in Oahu and Kauai, loved both. I remember seeing a lot of jewelry ready to fall off of people there in Waikiki. In Kauai, that was a different story, mostly saw topless so I really didn't notice if they had jewelry on
