I have a tesoro compadre with the 8" donut coil that i 'only' use on dry beach sand. While on the dry sand, would it be practical to open it up & fine tune the sensitivity & the ground balance pots for this specific use only? I do have the proper adjustment tool as opposed to using a screw driver.
