✅ SOLVED Turquoise and bronze ring???

This is my first post so thanks in advance for any assistance. I found this ring on the beach at Ocean City Maryland. Never have seen anything like it. No markings fairly heavy probably around a size 8 ring. Stone appears to be a very big piece of turquoise and not really sure what the metal is possibly bronze? Any thoughts?

Looks like hammered copper. The size sorta' seems like maybe it was a scarf slide?

Thanks benz and bigfoot. Think the scarf slide makes sense. I was hoping it was an old ring but it was still a cool find. Appreciate the help!
