These two rocks are about 10' apart flat on the ground. They are south of the Arkansas River not far from a bushwhacker hideout. There was a lot of activity in the area during the war.

Look for rock hill, old train tracks, sycamore trees, old concrete, hoot owl tree, big turtle rock pointing, sand pile in river! Look our see old cemetery or church! Don't give up-keep the faith- fullfill your story!

A fish head, a COPPERHEAD with it's mouth open going to bite you, it looks like a square and compass! Turtle sitting still, look at in all directions!

What's a chicken head, that sounds like a whopper, and not the sandwich!

They seem pretty small in the picture. What size are they and what would you guestimate them to weigh?

4'x20" and only partial exposed. Depending on how thick they are going to more than a few hundred pounds.

That sounds like a legitimate size for a trail marker. Do the arrows pointing at the turtle point East?

Could that "chicken head" be the rising sun over the horizon???? Is it carved into the stone with another stone or a steel tool? That is to say, scratched or chipped?

A symbol for the all seeing eye, the square, the rule, the plumb, Minerva, compass, a rising sun, sundial, pointer !
