Two 2s

Got a nice 21 target in the Nox on a lunch hunt at a lost 1800?s farm site in the park.



Then made it back to my not so new anymore local park cellar hole and got another one and a key date IHP.



The second one cleaned up pretty good.




The finds are getting scarce at this site. Here is the small handful.



The third tea house size pewter tea cup popped today as well.

Awesome Hunt. I found 2 cent pcs one day, and landowner came by to see if i was finding anything. when i showed him, he asked could he have one. you can't say no... Awesome saves!!

Thad, I have dug at least 10 two cent pieces, but I have never found a nickel 3 cent

I actually got two or three of them this season myself.

Didn't get out this weekend. Starting to get the itch though.

While I generally prefer coins with a portrait on them, I really like the design of the two cent pieces. That 1865 is in nice shape, and I love the Civil War era date. Congrats on the great finds.
